'Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. … mark 10:15

A Kairos moment. Everything lining up all at once. These moments do not come along often. Jeremy and I are positioned in one. This move to the mission field was ordained in the heavens and aligned on earth. Three things have to be in place for a Kairos moment.
3 Parts of a Kairos Moment
- The Spirit moving or hovering over the situation.
- The Word of God being discerned and spoken.
- The Word of God being met with faith and obedience in the hearts of those who hear.
Our tiny straw house on the border has quickly become home. It's as if everything was awaiting our yes to this assignment. It seems like we have always been here. The last month has been non stop. Long days working on the farm preparing it. We will house immigrants at great risk for human trafficking and short term missions teams.
The other days are spent at the refugee camps. Every refugee camp in Mexico is full. Full of humans from Guatemala, Mexico, Haiti, El Salvador, Ukraine, Honduras. Full of pain, suffering, hunger, anger and depression. As we go in with the hope of Christ, resources (diapers, toiletries, food, clothes,)and trauma counseling. There is a shift coming the camps will be full of joy, smiles, hope for the future and the Gospel of Jesus. People who have seen the worst humanity has to offer receive Jesus with joy. With heads bowed, hands clasped and tears flowing. They invite Jesus into their lives, hearts and journeys. Giving Him the reins.
- We invite you on this journey with us. You can schedule and come join us on the field for a week trip. You can pray or you can partner financially. John Piper said " Go, send or disobey." as a Christian if you are not a part of missions you are in disobedience. it's our job to infuse the world with the gospel.
Jeremy and I are honored to be a small part of God's big plan. Seeing the fruit of transformation in the least of these. Fulfilling our part of Matthew 25. The lady and her son pictured above were rescued from the cartel. She journeyed from Guatemala mostly on foot carrying her 6 year old son. She came looking for hope and health care. Her son has already had 3 open heart surgeries. God put them in our path. We are so honored to see God's plan begin to be fulfilled in their life. All the moms are journeying like Naomi. Some loosing all. We are excited to see God return them to Naomi that would not ever call themselves mara(bitter). Naomi knew her way physically but lost part of herself in the journey. Pain caused her to loose faith. As these families heal we believe they are on their own return to Naomi journey. We are confident that no matter the pain they have faced, the devastation they have seen, the lose they have been through. Jesus is the answer, by His stripes they are healed physically, spiritually and emotionally. We are committed to stand with them with outstretched arms and hearts to love them as Jesus loves them. To truly see the treasure in the field. We have bought the field friends and the farm too lol. There is no turning back.
