JULY UPDATE
Philippians 3:13
Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,

July has been possibly the busiest time of our life. The month began with work in Mexico. Then we returned to Alabama for one week. In one week, we packed up our house, cleared out the ministry property and storage units, had a giant yard sale, ministered and headed back to our beloved borderland. Whew!! Are you as tired reading that as we are doing it? We returned with our youngest daughter who has joined us on the field. Thank God for more hands to help.
To be honest this month has been hard, full of tired bodies and raw emotion. On the hard days our soul still says yes to Jesus and the call on our life. Seeing our whole life spread across a yard for one dollar was challenging as well as telling parents goodbye. Days like those are the days you feel Jesus pull you in and you know you are not walking this journey alone. As soon as we arrived back at the border, we had people flying in. God is sending laborers and we are so thankful.
We are excited to announce the human trafficking ministry is doubling, God is expanding our territory. This month we start work in a new red-light district. Pray for our safety, for the safety of our team, for wisdom going forward and for these precious women being bought and sold daily.
This precious woman we encountered was still being sold even though she was very far along in her pregnancy. This situation in these streets is almost impossible to explain. Our team was able to share the hope of Jesus with this lady and many more.
Another young woman had tried to escape and been tortured many times. Her body was covered in scars. She looked many years older than her actual age. Contend with us for Juarez, Mexico. We are contending for freedom over her and her people declaring the captives set free. That the blood of Jesus brings a new report to what has been known as one of the most dangerous cities in the world would be a well of revival.
Each week our team continues to work with refugees stranded on the Mexico/America border. Thousands seeking asylum in the US are gathered at the border without the essentials to sustain life. These people have walked across countries to await their legal process. They have come from war, slavery, famine etc.. Many have never heard the name Jesus or His life-giving hope. Many are being saved as we go into the camps taking supplies and the Gospel. Lisa is counseling many of the women one on one. Their stories are heart breaking. Pray for Lisa as she hears these stories daily. Pray more counselors come to help lighten the load. These victims have been through insurmountable trauma. Below is a picture from one of the children's services we do weekly with some of the refugee children. Over the last three months we have seen around 75 children come to the Lord in the camps.
We ask that you pray for us daily. We ask that you pray about partnering financially. We need your support! Missions are a team effort. We pray that you and yours are blessed abundantly and prosper in the Lord Jesus Christ. Much news to come as many exciting things God is doing.
Blessings and Love
